Who operates Firebookshop.co.uk?

Fire Bookshop is owned and operated by D&M Heritage Limited, the UK’S leading publisher of fire and rescue books.

Can I order over the phone?

We’re happy to take orders by phone – simply call us on 01484 534323 to place and pay for your order. Our lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

How can I pay for my order?

We use PayPal to process our order payments. However, you don’t need a PayPal account to pay for your order – when you reach the PayPal screen, simply click ‘Don’t have a PayPal account?’ and enter your card details. If you order by phone (see above) you can pay with a debit or credit card. We accept most debit or credit cards but do not accept American Express cards.

How will I know that my order has been placed?

When you have placed your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order and delivery details.

When will my order be despatched?

Orders received before 1pm on a weekday will be despatched on the same day. Orders received after 1pm will be despatched on the following weekday. Any orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.

Can I send my order to a different address?

Yes – simply choose this option at the checkout.

Where can my order be delivered to?

We deliver worldwide – simply choose your country at the checkout.

What are your delivery charges, and how long will my order take to arrive?

UK Standard delivery is £3.95 for all orders.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail as second class post and usually arrive within 2-3 days.

We are able to deliver overseas, and all our overseas deliveries are sent by First Class Royal Mail post. European orders should arrive within 3-5 days, and orders to the Rest of the World within 5-7 days. This is an airmail service and is currently not trackable.

Overseas delivery costs vary depending upon the final value of the order and the destination to which it should be delivered. Overseas delivery costs are calculated at the checkout.

What is your returns policy?

If you decide that you would like to return the goods you have purchased because you have changed your mind, we will exchange or refund the cost of the item if it is returned within 28 days of the order being processed. Goods must be returned in the condition they were received and at your expense. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return the goods to us. Please note that any delivery charges will not be refunded.

We recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return the goods to us.
